Make the folded book read in order.
Arrange numbered illustrations on both faces of nested sheets. Choose a slot, assign its page, and rotate it upright. Fold & inspect shows what a reader actually sees. Finish when every reading position contains its matching page, upright, with no duplicates.
Each sheet folds once down its center; sheets nest from outside to inside. Front outer faces pair the last page with page 1. Back faces reverse the order. This is folded signature imposition, not ordinary N-up printing.

Numbers above each card are reading positions. Numbers on the paper are the pages you placed. A page in the wrong position breaks the sequence.
